The product is a cream base consistency so do expect it to give a slight light ashy look to your lips. This product is not a moisturizer, it does leave lips soft after application... but it should be used as a base coat to protect and restore your lips when applying heat to them. I advised that you apply the product first then go in with whatever moisturizer, gloss or lipstick you use on top as your choice.
For example, Think of it as a heat protectant... when you spray a heat protectant on your hair and apply heat with the curlers it brings less damage to the hair then it would if you wasn't using any protectant.
I like to inform most of my customers that Everytime you smoke rather it’s leafs, papers, or rellos.. there's a brown tacky looking tar that builds up at the filter part of your blunt when it burns. Everytime you lay it against your lip you’re leaving a brown stain on your lip. If you clean your lip off with a wipe or damp cloth as soon as you’re done smoking, your lip won’t stain. But If you smoke and go about your day that tar on your lip will eventually stain and build up from every single blunt You smoke. That’s where the pigmentation is coming from, so try your best to apply two coats to your lip before smoking , wipe lip afterwards, and apply again then moisturize. Make it a cycle and try to add it to your smoking routine and you should see quick results in no time!
